SLC CT WTI RFID Application Engineer (Wuxi) / 西门子（中国）有限公司 中国研究院 RFID应用工程师（无锡）

For our Corporate Technology in Wuxi, we are looking for an RFID Application Engineer.

As indispensable part of Siemens Corporate Technology global innovation network, Siemens Corporate Technology China (CT China) was established in 1998 and started significant expansion in 2004 with the mission to develop unique innovations for Siemens business in China and worldwide.

Siemens Wuxi Innovation Center is one of the innovation hubs of Siemens Corporate Technology. The center is aiming to drive innovations for complete green mobility, smart city infrastructure and industrial automation together with local technology partners and end customers.

What are my responsibilities?

1. To develop RFID (main focus on UHF RFID) application solution together with Siemens researchers, engineers and local system integrator

2. To deeply understand Siemens RFID products and relevant applications;

3. To understand the application requirements by visiting customer site; To design the RFID application solution with focus on installation and configuration of tag and reader;

4. To design the RFID application software together with other RFID researchers and local system integrator; To code and debug the software with focus on RFID read/write process and interface to other systems;

5. To support installation and debug of RFID devices onsite; To evaluate the read/write performance of RFID software and further improve the performance;

6. To provide consulting service for RFID application solution;

1. 与西门子RFID 研究员和工程师，以及本地系统集成商合作完成应用解决方案；

2. 深入了解西门子RFID产品及其应用；

3. 到客户现场，了解RFID应用需求，完成RFID 解决方案设计（主要包括标签安装，读写器安装配置等）；

4. 与其他RFID研究员，系统集成商一起完成RFID应用软件设计，并完成部分软件的编程与调试工作，主要涉及RFID读写部分以及RFID系统与其他系统接口部分；

5. 支持现场RFID设备安装及调试，现场读写性能评估，进行应用程序测试及性能优化；

6. 提供RFID应用解决方案的咨询服务。

What do I need to qualify for this job?

1. Master degree or above, computer/electrical engineering/automation engineer or other related majors;

2. Hands on experience with C/C++, .NET, XML programming;

3. Hands on experience and knowledge with UHF RFID products and applications;

4. Strong interests in practical application solution and quick learner;

5. Good communication skills, team player in the cooperation of multiple teams

6. Read English documents fluently.

7. Practical experience on UHF RFID solution is preferred.

1. 硕士及以上学历，计算机、电子工程、自动化工程等相关专业；

2. 熟练掌握C/C++, .NET, XML至少其中之一；

3. 有UHF RFID基本知识，了解RFID产品及应用；

4. 对设计实际应用解决方案有兴趣；并具有快速学习能力；

5. 具有较强的沟通合作能力，有团队协作精神，能快速适应跨团队合作；

6. 熟练阅读英文文档和技术资料；

7. 有实际UHF RFID 解决方案经验者优先；

Embedded software engineer

Responsibilities

1. Develop products or projects together with researchers from other CT departments globally. 
2. Propose innovation solutions according to end customers' requirements develop and implement system software.
3. Communicate with end customers to get their feedbacks of user experience or potential requirements.
4. Execute and support multiple projects in parallel.
