1.Intern-System Engineering Software -3 openings
The candidate will work in system engineering lab, work with other system engr. He/She will work in Linux based embedded system environment. He/she will be involved in Micron memory product system level validation platform development project.
His/her responsibilities would include but not limited in below:
Micron memory product validation system software development.
Memory(eMMC/NAND/NOR) filesystem testing/optimization.
Execution of system validation with Micron memory product.
Data collection and analysis.
Debug and perform improvement for system validation coverage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other
equivalent majors.
Able to commit > 24 working and on site hours /week with diligent working attitude.
C/C++ capability is a must.
Familiar with Linux or other embedded system knowledge.
Skilled in Microsoft office software and be able to analysis and write report in Excel/Word/PPT.
Flash memory device knowledge would be preferred.
LA/Scope experience would be preferred.
Excellent English reading and speaking skill is preferred.
2.Test Engineer
Summary:
As a Divisional Semiconductor Test Engineer for Micron’s Embedded Solutions Group (ESG), you will play a key role in managing product development and production support engineering for a specific product or a group of products when transferring from design to high volume production. You will be the interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and marketing engineering to solve problems and sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Own flash memory test program development, work very closely with design engineers/quality&reliability engineers/application engineers for failure analysis, performance characterization and device issue debug to determine the root cause and provide solution.
Understand tester platform, test condition and test method for the memory product and generate defined test items and test flow for both characterization and volume testing needs.
Run yield and test time analysis to get a lowest cost test method in order to reach short test time and high testing coverage and yield.
Develop/define/improve testing method to deal with new product introduced from design to marketing.
Deliver a world class throughput time on the testing code development to reach fastest way of sample delivery.
Work with multiple & international teams to complete assigned projects in product development team required time.
Work with cross function and region teams to share the latest issues, methods and solutions for the benefit of current and future product development.
Requirements:
Electrical/electronic engineering or Computer Science background with BS or MS degree.
Fluent English in both verbal and written.
Critical thinking, proficient data analysis skills and structured problem solving skills.
Good teamwork, communication and collaboration skills are must.
Willing to take short international travel.
Familiarity with test program development is a great advantage.
Being able to use scope and logic analyzer will be a plus.
Have rich knowledge on NOR/NAND or RAM is a plus.

3.Firmware Develop Engineer
Job description
1)Work with controller developer to define eMMC firmware architecture
2)Work with other firmware engineers to development eMMC firmware
3)Work with product engineer, system engineer and quality and reliability engineers to define validation and qualification methods
4)Support customers on firmware related requests, include firmware customization, on site customer supports
5)Exploration on next generation controller solutions
Basic requirement
1)C and C++ code development capability
2)Understanding of embedded system
3)Experienced with lab tools: LA, OSC, TRACE, in circuit emulators
4)Demonstrated software engineering practices in terms of design, documentation, coding, and testing;
5)Balance independence and teamwork well and have good verbal and written communication skill;
6)Solid experience on flash driver, file system or operating system is preferred;
