Far East Asia Liner Operations Cluster (FEA LOC), located in Shanghai, is responsible for all vessel and cargo operations in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Russia Far East as well as the Philippines.
This means:
• Enabling the terminal network and procuring terminal capacity in base ports
• Delivering and measuring vessel schedule reliability on a port basis +/- 12hrs within cluster scope
• Optimizing the vessel utilization within the geographical scope and the designated strings
• Maintaining cost within the geographical scope
• Ensuring the execution of the feeder network

Key Responsibilities
Management of operations on Asia-Europe strings on FEA ports and ports within APA and WCA LOCs:
* Update vessel schedules in GSIS
* Monitor vessel performance/ability to comply with schedules
* Send vessel schedules to vessels, clusters and port agents
* Establish bunker ordering guidelines to the vessels
* Process bunker requests received from vessel via FPMS
* Coordinate delivery/re-delivery formalities for vessels phasing in/out of network
* Manage contingencies to protect schedule integrity
* Manage casualty and crisis involving vessels and crew
* Liaise with receiving LOC in case delays to a vessel cannot be contained within delegated scope
* Monitor bunker consumption in COMS and MSPS
* Drive initiatives to reduce bunker consumption
* Monitor buffer list in MSPS and add comments as required
* Fill details in COMS on day to day performance of the vessels
* Send speed instructions to vessels
* Attend queries of vessels regarding schedules/performance
* Support the process improvement initiatives
