TITLE: Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBLE TO: ODM Ops Manager

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To work closely with the Managing and Operations Director to gain a clear u
nderstanding of the product strategy, creative direction and execution of the
project management and delivery processes.

2. To work closely with the design team to advise and support product technica
l development.

3. To be the technical liaison between Design team and OEM to ensure successfu
l product development execution.

4. To support all aspects of the mechanical design process; helping to plan, p
repare for and synthesise research and co-creations sessions.

SELECTION CRITERIA

1. To hold a qualification in Mechanical Design Engineering or an equivalent f
ield is required.

2. Expertise in mechanical design and manufacture; Preferably within Telecommu
nication/electronic product structure design and development from concept to p
roduction.

3. Be an extremely competent CAD user and preferably have experience using Sol
idworks at this level.

4. Experience of working as part of a Design/Engineering team.

5. Excellent spoken and written English.

6. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary. Available to travel.
