Embedded Software Development Engineer-Intern (职位编号：DEV)
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software in an embedded software environment
- Application and driver development
- Diagnostic tests or firmware development and bugs fix on router/switch product.
- Support customer deployment and online troubleshooting
Must have skill/experiences
- Strong C programming experience and debugging skills
- Good knowledge of operation systems such as Linux, Unix or vxWorks
- Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with hardware, software, ASIC engineers, and customer support engineers.
- Must be comfortable with large-scale team-based SW development and frequent inter-group/company communication.
- Working experience on TCP/IP network and protocols
- Fluent English speaking and writing
Good to have skill/experiences
- Hands-on knowledge of a scripting language, TCL or PERL
- Knowledge of OOP in e.g. C or Java desired
- Working knowledge of version control system such as CVS or Clearcase.
- Router/switch data forwarding background (L2, L3) desired.
- Device driver and register level programming
- Experience with large-scale team-based software development
- Hands-on knowledge of DSP Audio process
- Experience on VOIP
- Good communication skill
Educational Background
- Typically requires MS EE/CS/Automation Control

Software Test Engineer-Intern (职位编号：TEST)
Responsibilities:
- Interface with development, marketing, customers, and partners to understand product deployment scenarios and use cases
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements and use cases into testable requirements
- Design test plans and test cases for feature, integration, stress, performance, regression and solution tests
- Execute tests, log problem reports, reproduce problems, and verify fixes
- Responsible for test bed and environment setup for feature, system, regression testing and problem recreation
- Work closely with development and customer support teams in recreation and resolution of customer reported problems
- Automate and execute feature, integration, performance, and solution tests
- Participate in test escape analysis and refine test process and/or regression test suites
- Contribute to and review engineering and end user documentation, product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, product literature, trouble-shooting guide, configuration guide, command reference, and release notes
- Strive for continuous improvements in testing methodologies and productivity
Must have skill/experiences
- Strong C programming experience and debugging skills
- Good knowledge in TCP/IP and other network routing/switch protocols
- Good knowledge in Linux/Unix (Solaris)
- Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks
- Open minded and willing to take any challenge
Good to have skill/experiences
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certification
- Hands-on knowledge of a scripting language, TCL/PERL/Shell/Python or other script languages
- White-box/block-box and automation test experience
- Experience with large-scale team-based software development/test
- Hands-on Linux programming/development experience
- Cisco Router/Switch using experience
- Video related knowledge. for instance, H.264, MPEG2/4, DVB, digital TV, set-tops, home gateway
- WiFi and Wireless Controller knowledge
